Thanksgiving weekend at the Bushes

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!
We went for a bike ride/run on the Shoreline Trail in the morning and then came home and made our Thanksgiving dinner. That part of the day was great but by early evening Marisa had come down with a flu bug and was sick through the night and the next day. Then by Friday night into Saturday, I got it, too. Let's just say Marisa and I are not interested in seeing any Thanksgiving food (in any form) again. We haven't been sick like that in a long time- it stopped us in our tracks. Hopefully Duane and Megan don't get it.
Love, Kay

Thanksgiving

I remember Dad telling me that he was thankful when he woke up in the morning, that he had another day. He was thankful at night, that he had another day.

I love Thanksgiving. I am thankful for my family near and far.
We love you all,

Ellie, George,

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello everyone:

Soooooo long since we have visited the blog. I can only guess what Larry's means - you have a new car, you had a BBQ and do you also have a new dog?? Hmmm.

We are busy. Trying to organize things here in preparation for the Aussie Brothers Invasion. We're excited about having brother Gus and wife Maggie, and brother Rob and wife Vicki visit. They arrive the day before Thanksgiving and will be here for 7-10 days. Then they go on to Vegas (we may visit them). Then Rob and Vicki have rented a cabin in Tahoe for Christmas/New Years so we will go up there. I'm glad we have lots of space for everyone.

Mom does sound happy about where she is at. I did offer to get her some of the oil paintings that I got from her (since they will be stored after March anyway) and she declined. She's got ideas for all of the walls she has now.

We'll be thinking of everyone on Turkey Day as we celebrate with our Australian family and some American friends.

Love you all,
Max

busy

You know you are busy, when ....

You run the dishwasher without soap. (I did this twice last week.)

You drive down the road past the street to turn into your neighborhood.

What is keeping you busy these days?
We are into flag football, Scout O Rama, fall festivals, yard sale.

Mom is sounding very happy. She is SO excited about her new apartment. So much room, three bedrooms! Watch out. She is going to ask for some "stuff" back from our houses. smile

Love,
Ellie
