visit

Mom came to Phoenix for a short week. We celebrated James' First Communion. Every day is very busy. We enjoyed seeing her and sharing our daily lives. We love you, Lita.

The Bushes

Sandy is adjusting to life with a puppy. She only tries to snap Briley's head off if Briley interferes in her meals. Otherwise, they are starting to roll around together.

Besides being very consumed with the entertainment of our dogs, here are a few other happenings with The Bushes...
Marisa just advanced in her dance classes again this year! She is in Teen Elite and Ballet 7 (means she'll start to do Pointe). She really enjoys it. She is also gearing up for lots of events in May. She completes her Confirmation Sacrament on May 2nd. She is performing with both of her Dance companies on May 10th (one in the morning and one in the evening) and then she graduates from Cosgriff on May 16th (lots of events and festivities around that).
Megan is enjoying the inaugural year of the Girl's Golf Club at Judge. This is the first year in the state of Utah to have Girls' Golf Teams. It is very cool that she is a part of it. She is running through her criteria and starting college searches. She took the ACT last weekend.
Duane is busy with work, biking, fishing and the training of Briley.
I just returned from a Girl's Cruise- I joined a group of 34 women on a Cruise to Ensensada last weekend. It was a fun getaway- I got lots of girl time (that means lots of talking and laughing).
I am working on another Career Day at Cosgriff. I am working with 6th, 7th, 8th Graders on exploring many different careers. They will present next week in their classrooms and display Posters throughout the school. Everyone has been very enthusiastic about the possibilities for their futures. Fun.
I've been bringing over from the 10th East garage- Dad's photos and albums. I am trying to figure out how to store them somewhere here but also having them out to look at. There are so many memories and so much history. I guess I'm feeling a little bit like what I think Dad must have felt- that we shouldn't let all of this go away. Anyone is welcome to any of these photos or books...
Well, just a little current news on us...

Hey, Larry- kind of bizarre videos you've posted recently.

Hope everyone is well.
Love, Kay
