Mom's visit- it was great to have her here and celebrate Marisa's 8th Grade Graduation and just share some time together!
We are doing lots of hikes, walks with the dogs- managing the pack!
Today, for Father's Day we went out to the Shooting Range.

Briley and Sandy in their happy place!

Sounds like your summer is going well, Ellie- sounds like fun camps for the boys. By the way, you do look great in your birthday photo.

Larry, thanks for the nice videos lately.

We have been so sad about Tim Russert's death. We have watched Meet the Press for so long on Sunday mornings as we read the paper and ate pancakes. He was such a great journalist- with such a nice, good guy manner. He has helped us all understand the politicians better and the persepectives. We have really enjoyed his commentary on Fathers and about living a positive life, being a good person and doing the right thing.

Remembering our Dad... he taught us so much about living a positive life, being a good person and doing the right thing. I miss you Dad.

Happy Father's Day- Charley and George.

Love to everyone,
Kay

summer

We had a good time in Colorado the first week of June. Hazel and George Sr. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. It was a great party. Over 60 people from all over the country. The weather was beautiful. It did snow one day when we were at Papaw's cabin on the west side of Pike's Peak.

Have you spent your government stimulus check? I bought a new stove. It is so neat. That sounds crazy, but I had a 25 year old stove and only two burners worked. What are you doing to stimulate the economy? Maybe spending it on gas?!....

Summer plans will keep us around home for now. Davis is in baseball camp. He is going to Boy Scout camp for eight days in July. James is going to Lego Engineering class taught by the public school.

Talk to you soon.
Love,
Ellie
