Back to work
Well it is back to work for me this week. Monday was a public holiday at least so only a 4 day week. I actually like my job quite a bit so can't complain too much. I've moved BACK to the office that is closer to home which is where I was at the first 9 months with this company. The opportunity came up at the original office and I love it. Same job but I prefer the people in that office (I really had a problem with one of the persons at the other office). And at this office I can either bus to & from or walk home. I am trying to walk home at least 3 or 4 times each week which is a nice 30 minute walk. Whitey gave me a pedometer for Christmas so there's some exercise motivation.
Whitey is trying to stay busy at home. He is getting alot of computer things done and other stuff. And there is a local professional tennis competition on TV as well as a cricket test between Pakistan & Australia. I won't even get into the explanation of how a international test can last 3-5 days. Yawn! But it keeps Whitey entertained with his leg up. He gets the cast off on Friday and will get a walking cast then.
Heard from John & Briana Taylor and they were still in Northern Thailand until the 27th so missed the tsunami which we are very happy about. A girl I work with was on Phuket until the morning of the 26th with her husband. They were on a ferry taking them to Pi Pi Island where they were to stay for 7 more days. That's the island off Phuket that had major damage (didn't they all?). Anyway, they were on the ferry in the middle of the two so saw it all happen but only felt a large swell underneath. No one hurt on the boat but had to rescue alot of people in the ocean. She has just returned to work today.
Has anyone heard from Lynne and Charley? Are they able to get on this?
Take care,
Love,
Max
