from Kay
Hi everyone-It's fun reading all of the posts. Dad- I don't think I'll be making the Hog's Head-ugh. That is very cool that you were at Truman's Inaugural Events. I'll make sure the girls read your post about it. So, Larry- did you attend last Thursday? I have been watching a replay of it this morning on CSPAN. It seems like a lot of big pagentry- probably at much expense- but it's nice for a day- to honor the traditions and watch the history. I find it interesting to watch how everyone handles the protocol, and etiquitte. Well, I completed a big project with my Learning Team and we gave our presentation on Thursday night. It went very well- the Professor was very impressed and many from the class commented how well we did. It was a fun project but this Counseling program is going to be time consuming! I have to keep strategizing on how to streamline the homework and not have it take over too much of my life. We took our ski/snowboard group up for a full day yesterday (no school). It was the most beautiful day- blue skies/sun/warm. The kids were beaming- and the adults had a great ski day as well. Megan got up early this morning for a swim meet- Duane went with her. I'm trying to get caught up on things here at home. Marisa slept past 9:00am. Love, Kay
