Meggie's New Year Extravaganza
Happy New Year everybody! I am very tired. We went to First Night last night, which was awesome. We saw my drum teacher play with his group some Latin music, and everybody in the crowd started dancing. That was my fav part. When we got home, it was like 10 minutes to midnight, and Marisa, me, and our friends Jane and Anne(we went to First Night with their family and they came with us to sleepover) went outside in the falling snow and threw confetti and shouted HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! We stayed up untill about 1.
On New Year's Day, we all slept in untill almost 10. Then we woke up, stuffed ourselves with pancakes, and ran outside in the new(almost melting) snow. We had snowball fights and built forts untill 2. Now I am sitting inside and writing this.
My New Year's Resoloutions are to go to swim practice 4 times a week and to see more of my friends and family. My hopes are that no more major disasters happen in 2005.
