Zombies

It looks like I've figured out how to put pictures on the blog [see below]. It wasn't to hard, downloaded the "Hello" program and it walked me through it. You all should try it. One caution though; Google is pushing thier new program "Picasa" so they redirect you to that site and you have to scroll down to the bottom to find the "Hello" link. Good luck and I'll play with it some.

No Kay, I didn't go to the Inaugral. I enjoy the specticals we have around here and try to make as many as possible - but sub-freezing temps really put me off.

Since I had the day off and it was butt-freezing cold, I went and rented some zombie movies: Shaun of the Dead and Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Shaun of the Dead was hilarious; he's a everyman character who's going through life "like a zombie" with his girlfriend complaining that they spend every night at the pub with his crude flatmate Ed. Ironically, as the dead come back to life, he ends up at the pub (with Shaun's mum, his girlfriend, her granola friends, and of course, Ed) since it's the only place Ed can smoke other than their place but it's to much of mess for Shaun's mum and their flatmate Pete is all zomified (and obviously they can get a pint there). Since all zombie movies have the same basic hook, the addition of the comedy makes it an instant cult film. Warning: these folks all have very thick London accents.

Resident Evil: Apocalypes was really bad but it does have Milla Jovovich , who've I've been in love with since she was in The Fifth Element .

Comments:
