Blue Nettles

Hi everyone:

I agree with Dad. I love the blog but I think everyone should contribute to it at least once a month. Even if it is to say (1) life is incredibly busy right now but I'm alive and (2) I have not forgotten my loving family. :)

For us the first year started out fun. We had neice, Michelle and her boyfriend Rob, came through here for 4 days. It was great to have them here. Whitey has always spoke of her as 'his favourite' but I always thought she was a bit of a brat. So it was nice to see she has matured and become a very nice adult. Her 5 year relationship with Rob, I believe has helped. We did what we could to enjoy ourselves, in spite of the constant rain.

Now I can sit in the office and see tons of trees and plants floating down the river. Huge logs float into the marina and Whitey has to tow them out. Yesterday a 15 foot diameter 'island' came in. It's sort of humorous.

Charley & kay - let me know when the kids spring break will be. I need to schedule when we are coming in March. If I can schedule it a bit around your breaks then I will.
