Blue Nettles

Agh! George had an accident on the freeway on the way home from work. He is ok and it is not his fault! Our little truck does not look so well. The bed of the truck was pushed up into the cab. It broke the latches on the side windows. The back bumper was bent under. You can't see the license plate. We have a sprayed in liner in the bed that is now cracked. The insurance estimate is much lower than the two estimates that George got. It is now at the body shop of our choice and George will be picking up a rental car. The insurance company will deal with the body shop to cover all repairs over the estimate. The kid behind George caused the accident and two other cars were involved. Two of the drivers got tickets for driving too fast for conditions (freeway traffic was slowing). The kid was in a company truck (F250). I think he lost his job.

This is the third accident (not his fault) that George has been involved in the last five years going to or from work downtown. The truck is almost paid off and we had planned to keep it for many, many years. It is frustrating to deal with the mess. I am scared that George is pushing his luck. Maybe he should work from home more often.
