Help! I need your advice.
I am drowning in paper. I keep hard copies of everything. I have old (very old) payroll stubs. I keep all statements from banks, investments. I'm paranoid that when we retire, I will have to prove all our deposits for many years. I keep warranties and instruction booklets. I keep receipts of big purchases. Do we really get to write off household repairs when we sell our house? That may be a while.
How much do I really have to keep?
This is driving me nuts, but I can't throw (shred) anything.
