I miss my mother. Somewhere in the last year, our relationship has disappeared. I do not think a phone number on the telephone caller id screen is an exchange. You do not call. You do not email. You do not write.

I want to hear about your new chapter in your life. The interesting people you meet. Your new projects and adventures. I am looking forward to your writings on your new laptop.

This week I sewed a costume for Davis' oral book report. I used a 47 year old sewing machine. How many times did you thread this needle? I make stitches like my mother taught me.

I got a beautiful ceramic butterfly for Valentine's Day. Mexican art, bright colors. There are signs of my mother in all areas of my life.

You told me to trust your decision to move to St. Joseph's. You told me the facility has everything you would need. I trust your opinion. I trust the professional staff to take care of your. You are a brilliant, smart, caring, strong woman.
