bad parent moment
Yesterday, I had a bad parent moment.
Davis' morning chore was to vacuum the kitchen and dining room with a little floor vac that we own. After some time, I couldn't figure out why it was not picking up the dirt. I touched the hose and it was damp. Davis couldn't tell me why. We checked the filter and it was sopping wet. Davis had vacuumed the dog water dish. I was screaming. "Who is their right mind vacuums the dog water dish!" Davis was very quiet. We took it apart and set it outside to dry. I don't have much faith it will work very well again.
George reminded me that little boys are curious.
