First Day of School...Megan's last year of high school...Marisa's first year of high school.

As you can see in the photos above, they were trying hard to have a sense of humor about the day as well as laugh at their new uniform shorts which they dislike greatly.

I loved my day back at school...it's going to be a great year.

Max and Whitey- you look great in your photo! I hope the big catamaran works out...it looks like it would be a fun, new challenge. ...hopefully we can figure out a visit someday...

I have to admit, I do feel a little bit like I'm blogging myself lately. I totally understand that not everyone in the family feels like blogging all of the time, not able to get to it, not able to do it or maybe just not as interested in communicating this way. However, I believe it's a fairly easy way for us to keep up a little bit with each other and could even be a good way to have some group discussion on any topic...
The miles between us and our busy lives will consume us if we don't stay connected. Life's short; kids are growing up, we're growing older...

We have been enjoying the Olympics every night...so inspirational. How about that Michael Phelps! Megan and Marisa met him a few years ago when he visited U of U for a swim team event. They have his autograph. Duane thinks it's worth thousands of dollars- we'll see.
